Mr. Gardner will take the audience back through time highlighting Ohio’s unique habitats and plants plus what to plant to create your own Ohio native floral legacy. \nCaroline Perruci – From Foraging Neanderthals to Modern Gardeners: Herbs Through the Ages\nArcheology has revealed humanity’s use of herbs as far back as 60\,000 years ago. This presentation will reflect on our interactions with herbs throughout human history\, and share some practical knowledge of how we can grow and utilize some of these ancient herbs in our lives today. \nManon VanSchoyck – All My Garden Guests Are Wild\nMrs. Van of Ohio Nature Education as we discuss how to create a wildlife-friendly yard. We’ll discuss how to attract hummingbirds\, butterflies\, moths\, and songbirds to your yard\, no matter how large or small. \nErika G Galentin – Healing in Your Garden with Native Medicinal Plants\nJoin clinical herbalist Erika Galentin of Sovereignty Herbs for a delightful meander through a native medicinal plant garden. Learn about herbaceous and woody perennials that bring both wildlife and medicinal value to your landscape. \n
